We had so much fun upcycling some colourful 

knitted jumpers for @esprit

’The designs I created drew significant inspiration from the archival visual style of Tamotsu Yagi and Ettore Sottsass at Esprit. The distinctive shapes, color palettes, and iconic graphic elements of ESPRIT have provided a strong foundation for bringing my own design language. As always in my work, I reduce waste by reusing any excess material when reworking the existing silhouettes as well as additional scraps from my archive. Employing various knitting techniques, including digital & analog knitting machines and hand embroidery, I transformed the silhouettes by deconstructing seams to achieve a more sculptural and oversized fit. I wanted to tribute the hero knits without cutting into the fabrics, as the knits are high quality materials, shaped and perfectly made.’
